🎶 Choir Auditions: 2026–27 School Year 🎶
Interested in joining choir next year? Auditions for the 2026–27 school year run from April 7 to May 21 and are held during lunch, flex, and after school. All are welcome, even if you or your student did not forecast for Choir for next year.
Auditions are quick, low-pressure, and done one-on-one with Mr. Eisemann in his office.
All you need to prepare is 30 seconds of any song you like—something that fits your voice and that you enjoy singing. Any style is welcome! Mr. Eisemann will guide you through the rest with a few easy vocal exercises. If you’re already in choir, you’ll also do a short sight-reading activity.
Most auditions take 5–10 minutes and are first come, first served. Be sure to fill out the AUDITION FORM before you audition.
Everyone is welcome to audition – even if you didn’t forecast for choir!
A Cappella and Royal Blues require an audition
Auditions are strongly encouraged for Intermezzo, Men’s Ensemble, and Treble Choir so Mr. Eisemann can get to know you and your voice
Questions? Stop by Room 281A or email jeisemann@pps.net.
Results will be posted before lunch on Friday, May 22, and Royal Blues callbacks will be at 3:45 PM that afternoon.
Come sing with us—we’d love to have you!
